Poema is a space to return—to the river beneath the river, the deeper current of your own being— and to begin living in relationship with it, with trust in your rhythms and in what you carry.
In this work, you begin to see your life more clearly—what has shaped you, and what is here now. Not to remain there, but to make meaning of what you’ve lived, to recognize how it’s formed you, and to begin disentangling the stories and patterns that no longer serve you.
This is a space to be in ceremony with your life.
And in doing so, what once felt fixed begins to open, and what once felt like limitation begins to reveal its possibility.

The Journey
Across our sessions, we explore your life through the lens of the Hero’s Journey. Using the chart as symbolic language alongside meditation, writing, and ceremony, you begin gathering the threads of your own mythos as the journey unfolds.
The Call
Every life carries a quiet summons.
Guided by the North Node, meditation, writing, and conversation, we begin exploring the archetypal energy calling you toward greater wholeness and expansion.
The Pattern
Before we can move toward what is calling us, we must first understand the stories and patterns we have been living inside of.
Here we explore the South Node and 4th house as symbolic gateways into inherited narratives, emotional imprints, and survival strategies that have shaped the way you move through life.
The Hero Within
Beneath the roles you have played and the identities you have inherited lives something more essential and true.
Using the Sun, Moon, Rising, we begin exploring the deeper architecture of your inner world and the hero you are meant to embody.
The Apprenticeship
Every life contains tensions that ask something of us.
Saturn and the squares within the chart reveal the places of refinement, resistance, growth, and initiation shaping your character and relationship to responsibility, devotion, and becoming.
The Threshold
There are seasons in life where something begins pressing at the edges of who we have been.
This is where we turn toward your current transits and the thresholds asking to be crossed, listening for what is emerging now and what your life may be inviting you into.
The Claiming
At the end of the journey, we gather the threads.
Through storytelling, mythic reorientation, and ceremony, you begin reclaiming your life not only through the lens of what happened to you, but through the deeper story asking to emerge through you.

Meet Mel
I do not remember much from my childhood, but I remember sitting with my grandmother as she spoke about the zodiac as though there were hidden ways of understanding ourselves and our world.
Something in me recognized that language long before I had words for why.
Years later, after deconstructing much of my religious upbringing and moving through seasons that asked me to reimagine my life entirely, I found my way back to astrology. Not as a tool for certainty, but as a way of tending more consciously to soul.
My path has taken me through the study of theology, astrology, psychology, and the many ways we may search for meaning and deeper relationship with life.
I am a certified intuitive astrologer, self holding practitioner, and postpartum doula. I believe the birth chart holds both fate and freedom — a map of what has been given and all that still remains possible.
To me, astrology is not so much about fixing yourself or predicting the future. It is an invitation to meet your life with agency and reverence, to participate with it more consciously, and to fall in love with the story that is yours alone to live.
