But what happens when you begin to recognize these archetypal forces in your everyday life?
When you begin to see how Saturn has been at work in your own life? How those initiations have not been in vain?
When you begin to see the recurring themes of your life and the greater story taking shape?
POEMA is a journey into the living wisdom of your birth chart.
Through guided astrological study, active imagination, and integration work, we'll explore how the archetypes of your chart have expressed themselves through your lived experiences, and begin cultivating a deeper relationship with them. Together, we'll listen for what they may be revealing about your path and your uniqiue curriculum.
Along the way, you'll begin writing your personal myth, gathering the threads of your life and weaving them into a story that breathes meaning to where you've been and is still unfolding.
A return to your own path. To the wisdom of what you carry. To the devotion and reverence that your one wild life is so worthy of.
And from that place, to turn toward your life and say:
Yes, I will love you.
Yes, I will tend to you.
Yes, I will drink deeply of you.
Who told you that you should be further along by now?
That finding yourself at the same threshold again meant you had somehow failed?
Who told you that the life you've been given is somehow less meaningful than the one you imagined?
How much of what you've come to believe about yourself, about life, about the sacred, was never truly yours?
We've inherited countless measures for what makes a life successful, meaningful, or worthy. Stories about who we ought to be, what we should desire, and what a life well lived looks like.
And somewhere along the way, we began seeing ourselves and the world through eyes that were never entirely our own. But what happens when we begin to question the stories we've inherited? When the familiar maps no longer tell us where to go?
In a world full of answers, POEMA is a space for holy disorientation.
For bewilderment and folly. For loosening the illusion of certainty, questioning what we've inherited, and becoming curious about what else might be possible.
We begin to recognize the archetypal forces within our own experiences. How they've shaped us, challenged us, called something forth from us. How the same forces find their expression differently in each of our lives.
And suddenly, the chart becomes more than a map of who we've been. It becomes a way of seeing what's possible, the many ways our stories might yet unfold.
Perhaps we become less concerned with measuring our lives and more devoted to discovering what is ours to live.
To remember our own gaze. Our own way of encountering the world. The ways Spirit reveals itself to us.
And to ask, with absolute honesty:
What is life asking of me?
This is a space to be in ceremony with your life.
To return to the river beneath the river, the deeper current of your own being.
To make meaning of what you've lived, and become more intimate with the life unfolding before you.
Because there is something only your life can teach you.

Across our sessions, we explore your life through the lens of the Hero’s Journey. Using the chart as symbolic language alongside meditation, writing, and ceremony, you begin gathering the threads of your own mythos as the journey unfolds.
The Call
Every life carries a quiet summons.
Through the North Node, meditation, writing, and conversation, we explore the archetypal energies calling you toward greater wholeness and expansion.
The Pattern
Before we move toward what calls us, we begin recognizing the stories we've been living inside.
The South Node and 4th house illuminate inherited narratives, emotional imprints, and survival patterns that have shaped your life.
The Hero Within
Beneath the roles you've played and identities you've inherited lives something more essential.
Through your Sun, Moon, and Rising, we explore the deeper architecture of your inner world and the hero within.
The Apprenticeship
Every life contains tensions that ask something of us.
Saturn and the squares in your chart reveal the places of resistance, refinement, and initiation through which character is formed.
The Threshold
There are seasons when something begins pressing at the edges of who we've been.
Through your current transits, we explore the thresholds before you and what may be emerging in your life.
The Claiming
At the end of the journey, we gather the threads.
Through storytelling, mythic reorientation, and ceremony, you begin reclaiming your life as a story you're consciously participating in.

Meet Mel
I do not remember much from my childhood, but I remember sitting with my grandmother as she spoke about the zodiac as though there were hidden ways of understanding ourselves and our world.
Something in me recognized that language long before I had words for why.
Years later, after deconstructing much of my religious upbringing and moving through seasons that asked me to reimagine my life entirely, I found my way back to astrology. Not as a tool for certainty, but as a way of tending more consciously to soul.
My path has taken me through the study of theology, astrology, psychology, and the many ways we may search for meaning and deeper relationship with life.
I am a certified intuitive astrologer, self holding practitioner, and postpartum doula. I believe the birth chart holds both fate and freedom — a map of what has been given and all that still remains possible.
To me, astrology is not so much about fixing yourself or predicting the future. It is an invitation to meet your life with agency and reverence, to participate with it more consciously, and to fall in love with the story that is yours alone to live.
