About me

I am Melissa Perez, a Sagittarius Sun and Moon with Aries rising. My connection to astrology was sparked by my grandmother's deep love for ancient wisdom. Although astrology surfaced in and out of my life, it wasn’t until my first reading that I began to truly explore its significance.

The birth of my second son was a turning point, sending me into the depths of postpartum anxiety. It was a reckoning where I came face-to-face with patterns of self-abandonment, catalyzing deep personal transformation. During this time, astrology emerged as a powerful tool for self-reclamation, inviting me to broaden my understanding of my own journey. I learned to truly honor the many women I have been, am, and am yet to be.

As a mother, wife, poet, and Rites of Passage doula, I have surrendered and braved the deep initiations marked by anxiety, grief, loss, and rebirth. These experiences have expanded my capacity to hold greater beauty and deeper heartache, allowing me to hold space for the nuances that shape our stories. Rooted in my own process of becoming who I am, I create spaces for deep soul work, honoring your story, integrating its lessons, and inviting you to step into deeper trust - in you and your fullness.

I am also the co-creator of Embodied Mama, where we’ve developed two beautiful decks to support women on their embodiment and motherhood journeys. I hold certifications as a postpartum doula, Self-Holding Method practitioner, breathwork facilitator and intuitive astrologer, alongside over 13 years of theological study. These elements come together in my work, offering a grounded approach to inner work and embodied living.

Astrology Sessions

  1. Astrological Natal Session - $200 (75 min)
    Your natal chart is a living myth—a map of your soul’s unfolding story. In this session, we’ll explore the themes your chart offers, inviting you to connect with the gifts, shadows, and potential paths woven into your journey. It’s not about fixed answers, but rather opening to the deeper meanings and patterns that guide you.

    Includes:

    • A look at your chart as a living, imaginal map

    • Exploration of your gifts, shadows, and soul curriculum

    • Optional somatic or reflective practices to ground the insights

    2. Astrological Transit Session - $170 (60 min)

    The planets and stars are guides, inviting us into initiations and deeper reflections along the journey of the soul. In this session, we’ll explore the transits shaping your life now, listening together for the invitations they carry and the stories they’re asking you to live into.

    3. 1:1 Consultation for Returning Clients - $150 (60 min)
    These sessions offer a space for returning clients to process transitions, explore patterns, or navigate personal shifts. Whether you need clarity during a change or a moment to check in, we’ll work together to support your journey.

Personal Mythos Journey - $750 (4 sessions, 75 min each)
Step into a deep unfolding—a journey that uncovers the layers beneath your life’s experiences, roots you in your own wisdom, and invites you to reclaim your evolving story.

Together, we will:

    Story Weaving invites us to make meaning of our experiences and envision how we want our stories to unfold. With insights from astrology and somatic awareness, we honor the stories our bodies hold and the archetypal patterns we live by.
